Summer Recess

If you haven't noticed, I've been... checked out for a while. After all that hot dog hoopla and the recent dessert battle at my office, I've gotten a little burnt out on food and cooking. Plus, other activities such as "earning money" and "marathon training" have become all-consuming in the last few weeks. So, I am taking a little summer break from blogging, to recharge my batteries and practice not photographing everything I eat and cook.

I will be back, though, with news of the upcoming Office Cookoff Tiebreaker (Battle: Dessert ended up as a tie between myself and the President, though the voting was clearly rigged and generated much spirited debate and several threatened resignations). I will also be in Montreal next weekend, so look forward to plenty of pictures of poutine soon.
