In the lead up to the big cookie-off, I decided to scope out the local macaroonage to see what I was up against. As I expected, New York macaroons are no where near as good as french macaroons. But that didnt stop me from eating all three of these perky little guys, or from feeling like a stuffed macaroon myself afterwards.
And yes, I couldnt help biting into the salted caramel one before I took the picture. What? Like you would have been able to.
